im a bit overweight.. I want to loose at least 30-35 pounds in 3-5 months.I weight 175 lbs. and am 5'4 in height... I am almost 12 years old and i dont care that i am too young for diet.thank youHealth Question & Answer

Honey I know where you are coming from and I don't think you are too young to diet--But you have to diet sensibly and you have to exercise. You need to ask your parents or the school nurse or someone who can guide you into a healthy way of eating and exercising even if it is just taking a walk around your neighborhood a couple of times a day. Don't take diet pills unless your medical doctor approves THIS IS VERY VERY IMPORTANT!!!


Make goals for yourself that are reasonable. Get out of your house more. Do things that require you to move around.

You have to have a healthy life long diet change. And remember that weight loss that's really quick usually doesn't last. You won't succeed in keeping the weight off if you don't change the habits that made you gain the weight in the beginning--I KNOW FROM EXPERIENCE.

quit drinking soda and stick to water.
take a steady jog around your street for 8mins to lower down your metabolism everyday. (dont go lazy and procrastinate)
No more fun snacks or whatever kind of cheese puffs you're eating! Eat fruits, salmon, and non fried meals for dinner.

you can't lose that much weight in such a small time
do these two and you WILL lose weight
1. exercixe 30min at least everyday
2 eat healthy food, like fruits and vegetables
and dont eat alot of fatty foods

omg, that is a little chubby. im 13, and thats a little lot for a girl. sorta unattractive. if you ask me (nothing personal) just burn all the fat, diets are the WORST thing to do for an 11-year-old...
