What is a healthy diet for a 13 year old girl?!


Question: What is a healthy diet for a 13 year old girl.?
I am 13 yrs old and wanting to loose just extra weight. Does anyone know any diet or something i could do.?.?.?.? Im not overweight i just want to get rid of extra pounds and cleanse my body. I play basketball 3 times a week and do 30 sit ups before i go to bed every night on weekdays. And i dont eat much fried food or fatning foods because i have a sensitive stomach. I just want to see if their is anything else i can do, because what im doing now isnt making me lose weight!! Help me!Health Question & Answer

Try eating water soluble foods. Such as salads, melons and fresh fruits. also if you chew gum, you may want to switch to orbitz. It has sorbitol in it and as it is a sugar substitute... it is also a carb stabilizer. My daughter is facing the same thing. But for the most part... Know that you are only 13. start running. in practice make sure you are first finish with every runnung assignment and don't cut corners. change 50 situps to 300 crunches every week day. Add maybe 50 push ups a night too. Try running on the days you aren't playing basketball 2 days a week try about a mile and a half. I did this in middle school and i slimmed down those extra pounds and plus some but i ran track while doing basketball 6 days a week but that's really crazy but i like to play sports so it wasn't really on purpose just a relief of stress. But i ate like crap too, whatever i want and my abs are flat and i'm a size two so it worked for me.Health Question & Answer

Eating healthy is the key. One big thing is eating whole grains instead of white bread, regular noddles ect. But dont be to hard on yourself, your only 13 and it sounds as if you are pretty active already. Health Question & Answer
