Losing Weight but Seems a lil slow?!

Question: Losing Weight but Seems a lil slow.?
I have been going to the gym for about 2 weeks now and everytime i go i try to burn atleast 700 calories on the cross trainer then i move onto the weights.

Thing is i am only seeing small results when i look at myself. Other people have told me that there is defo a diffrence in my face and around my gut but i cant see it myself.

I was wondering maybe it has something to do with my diet.?

Now im going to be honest i have been a day without food and when i do eat i only eat small stuff like apples, bananas, oranges, tuna sannie or a bowl of special K. And rarely i have a tiny amount of dry roasted peanuts. But i only eat one of these at a time. I think the most i have eaten in one day in the past week was 4 oranges and a tiny amount of peanuts.

I must point out tho that the only reason i seem to eat so lil is because im sticking to tht no food after 6:30pm rule tht i keep hearing about. Which means after work, college and the gym i dont really have the time.

As for drinks i do drink a pint of milk sometimes when im thirsty but i mostly drink a pint of fruit juice or just plain water.

I also sometimes drink a protein shake after the gym session.

Am i doing something wrong.? Thank you everyone who answers in advance.Health Question & Answer

You need to eat more protein if you're trying to build muscle as well ( which I assume u are). Tuna, chicken, eggs 4 breakfast (2 boiled eggs are only 160 cals) also lots of water, 5 portions fruit and veg.. try chicken salad, salmon and crushed potatoes (no butter), tuna steaks, grilled chicken evry which way u can think of. Protein is low in cal and will help u turn fat into muscle. If you don't eat enough of the right stuff ull actually lose muscle! also it take about 6 weeks to start seeing a real difference from the gym.. U will see a difference!! Mark the 6 week point on a calendar and do your measurements... they will change!! Just be patient and enjoy it :-) Health Question & Answer

dont worry, you are probably gaining muscle too! and muscle weighs a lot more than fat. and also dont judge by a scale, judge by a mirror so you can see how much muscle you have! also if you dont eat a full breakfast and dinner it is proven that you dont loose as much weight! so eat, eat, eat!
hope this helps! ;]Health Question & Answer

First off make sure you eat breakfast every morning, studies have shown that not eating breakfast can actually make you gain weight. Another thing is to just eat in general. Im not saying a lot but you cant just starve yourself. The best diet to stick to is a high protein low card diet. You should take in 1-2 grams of protein per pound of your body weight. also eat a bunch of small meals throughout the day not just two or three big meals.
It is also hard to notice your own body changing, the best thing to do is get a tape measure, a scale and a notebook. weigh and measure yourself a couple times a week around the same time each day and write it down. check out bodybuilding.com they have a bunch of articles and workouts to follow.
