It all depends on your genes, our bodies are reprogrammed to lose Weight more in certain areas than others, it's a pattern. Once you know it, this can help you predict your results, roughly of course. I have a bug butt and big boobs DD's....and no matter how much weight I loose they will never be small enough, I gain Weight first in those spots and loose weight last in those spots, this is my pattern, not everyones though.Health Question & Answer

You will probably lose a little of your boobs and butt first, yes. Those are the fleshiest parts of the body, so thats the fat that gets burned first.Health Question & Answer

you're only 13 so yeah your breasts are going to be really tiny. just make sure you eat enough because you're still growing! your nose will be fine. everyone loses weight on their body differently. Health Question & Answer

While you haven't given any particulars about weight or size, I can tell you some things about dealing with your body image and how they relate to you as a whole person.

It sounds clear to me that you are young and find that you value your sexual characteristics as a part of who you are.

The first thing to understand is that breast development is not equal for all women and that breast size has nothing to do with how well it works for the job it's there for...nursing babies. Small breasts do exactly what large ones do.

Breast tissues are good at storing fats and that is why they tend to get bigger when you have gained weight and bloated and tender when you gain water weight.

Psychologically, many girls want to have a large chest because boys seem to like that and they want one of those critters. Makes enough sense I suppose and because of recent cultural swings they want a round bottom now where that used to make girls crazy trying to get rid of.

Okay, I'm ancient now and when I was born curvy girls were in too...it was called the sixties. Maybe there's nothing at all wrong with it but I thought I'd relate the feelings one of my girlfriends had to deal with.

She died in 1995 of bone cancer that changed from the original breast cancer and she spent over eight years in and out of remission until it was pronounced terminal. She left on Christmas Eve.

That's not the part of the story that matters. She had one breast and the lymph nodes removed in the surgery. She only wanted to be assured she was a woman. She knew she was a woman whether she had breasts or not. Breasts are only part of a definition of being a woman. The rest of that notion is inside your skull. At your age I really don't think you'rer even done with all of that and you are too worried for no good reason. Relax.

Besides that, she was ornery and never wore a breast form so she could sneak her cigarettes around the nursing home ;-) AHEM

She stopped smoking about a month before she left us but by then the Class III and IV narcotic painkillers weren't much more than candy.

Still, I can understand how they are a part of how you feel about yourself. They they might shrink some, maybe not as much as you think as it depends of what type of loss you are having and on top of that, as I said you are only losing fat and not the breast. You do realize that you aren't like a balloon and not everything goes away in the same fashion.

By the way, large hips have nothing to do with childbearing or whatever either. It's always good to keep slimmer as it reduces wear and tear on your body, especially the heart.

And you do realize that if you're 13 you are supposed to have 8-10 years of growing to go and if you treat yourself well and eat properly and stay fit you CAN be taller...NO it's not all genetic. eating good foods and staying in shape encourages your body to grow taller and bigger. Look at Venus and Serena Williams and tell me I'm wrong!

Don't just get on a trainer, get a real bicycle or play sports and exercise your feelings and body all at the same time. My FAVORITE exercise is when I reach the other side of town at the thrift store on 26" balloon cruiser tires...YEAH, I'm gonna find another record or stereo gear but I'm out of the house.

And go talk to a doctor or nurse about nutrition and exercise to make sure you do it safely and efficiently. ALWAYS DO THAT.

Lastly, you need to talk to your mother as she got there first!

Take care!Health Question & Answer
