Question: What should i eat post workout.?
30mins ago i had 1c oats with cinnamon and 1 scoop whey
in 1hr im gonna workout for an hour so 430-530
then 545 protein shake in OJ.? is that a good idea
and 1hr after that what should i eat for my Post post workout meal like how much protien carbs... fat.? and complex carbs.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
protein: ALOT (i try to get 80 grams)

carbs: ALOT ( i try to get 50 grams)

fat: none

for protein try and get in some lean steak, or a few chicken breasts

for carbs, eat a sweet potato and/or some brown rice

though essential fatty acids are good, putting it in a post workout meal slows the food down, so it can't get to your muscles as fast.

wait about 2-3 hours after your post workout meal before eating yet another meal with good fats :) (fish, fish oil tablets, natural penut butter, whole eggs)

what is your body type.?

are you seriously 15.? MAN! if i had done this at your age I'd be HUGE! hahaha good job man

Health Question & Answer

After working out you should eat protein and simple carbohydrates. Try and take 2 scoops of whey protein and a glass of oj or grape juice. Take in 60 grams of carbs and don't eat any fat because it slows down digestion. The key to your post workout meal is fast digesting protein and carbs so that your body can start to repair itself. Hope that helps!

Carbs after workout are good. I'm not a fan of Orange juice. It is high in sugar content and this gives you a sugar bounce... which can make you feel hungry.

I eat a banana.... sometimes two... a hand full of almonds... maybe some peanut butter on wholemeal bread... and have a protein shake.

I work that into my regular meal routine.Health Question & Answer

brown rice and a grilled boneless skinless chicken breast cut and laid on top.

I hope you're adding some Glutamine to your protein shake.Health Question & Answer
