Question: Is a bad to take an extra long nap after a workout.?
I workout everyday after school for about 2 and a half hours, and when i get home, i take protein and eat, but afterwords I take an about 3 hour nap! Is this bad for me.? What is the best thing to do to keep me from being so tired.?Health Question & Answer

You may want to try eating before your workout, You need fuel to burn. You may be burning fuel you dont have and thats why you get so tired. also your doing it after school, boring long school. Thats enough to make anyone tired. Health Question & Answer
When you wake up in the morning are you still tired or do you wake up refreshed.? If you're still tired in the morning, try skipping the nap and getting an extra 3 hours at night and see how you feel.

i am doing the same exact thing, i wouldnt worry about it much, just listen to what your body is telling you and what it needs. and you should eat within an hour after the workout, even when you are sleeping your metabolism works, let it be 2 and a half hours + food it needs time to work on all this :)Health Question & Answer
i think it isnt good to take a nap right after you eat. maybe you can take ur protein and sleep then eat after you wake upHealth Question & Answer
