ok, first of all, i just want you to know something: i know people of all shapes and sizes. everyone is built differently. truly. this is not a cop-out. if you are honestly active and a healthy eater, you will be your size. some people are tiny on top and then have a butt and thighs. seriously...that is just the way their DNA works. also, it really may just be muscle, you'd be suprised...people who are muscular tend to put it on easily. it does really weigh more than fat.

one thing you could do (if you are not doing) is check your salt and sugar intake. this causes a lot of un-necessary bloating. if you like sugary and calorie filled beverages (one example would be chocolate milk) that is not technically an unhealthy drink, milk is great for you, but with the calorie and fat intake of that it should be considered a snack on its own. dont drink it with a meal.

sodium. wow, that really gets a person (especially me)...water retention. you would be suprised.

stay hydrated. water is a great way to flush out impurities out of your body. and it is the best way to flush out water retension too believe it or not.

i would focus on how active you are and your eating pattern and not so much on "legs on the big side" remember, if it's DNA, you are fighting a battle you wont win unless you destroy your body in the process. be proud of yourself for being healthy. that pays off now and in the long run.

be kind to yourself. Health Question & Answer

Once fat cells develop, it's difficult to convince them to let go of their reserves. It may also be your metabolism. also - changes can take months before they are obvious. Try measuring the diameter of each thigh on a monthly basis - you may have made a little progress and not realized it. also - women naturally carry fat around the thighs and buttocks - it may be that your body, when healthy, wants a certain fat reserve there.Health Question & Answer

My girlfriend tried all sorts of different diets and products, most without success. Her friend let her try out a new Acai Berry product she was using and she now swears by it.

Shes lost over 13 pounds already, most of the weight went from her tummy, hips, bottom and thighs. Apparently the Acai Berry flushes all the waste out your system and cleanses your body of toxins and bacteria.

She got her own supply for free too, only had to pay like $5 shipping.

Here's their site if you want to check it out: http://tinyurl.com/acaiberriesHealth Question & Answer

You could have a medical problem, like hypothyroidism, that makes it hard for you to lose weight. Go see a doctor. If it is a thyroid problem, it can be fixed with medication pretty easily. Health Question & Answer

You are very muscular. Muscle weighs more than fat and it sounds like you're very active. Try keeping a calorie count for a few days to see what you're consuming and then look for sugars and fats that you can eliminate. Good luckHealth Question & Answer
