Question: Have you taken any omega-3 supplements lately.?
Did you feel any difference.?
I purchased a bottle for my mom, she says she feels great and that it even helps her with constipation problems. I'm thinking about getting a bottle for my self.Health Question & Answer

The thing is, most people don't eat enough foods that contain the vitamins and minerals that we need.

I take Omega-3 vitamins amongst many others and when I commit to them every day, I feel better. I have more energy and I don't get as tired as I would without them.


I think it would be a good idea for you to take one a day with a meal.


EDIT: I've never heard or experienced any weight gain specifically from taking vitamins.

That is bogus and totally untrue. If you feel unsure about that, ask a doctor or nutritionist, but I'm 100 percent positive that they will tell you the same.Health Question & Answer

Your mom is correct on that. I first began taking them a few years ago when it was discovered the EPA content in Omega-3 has positive effects relating to mental health; such as easing depression, improving concentration -- as a couple of examples.

It's also helpful for dry skin, and strengthens the hair follicles and encourages healthy growth. Hair becomes noticeably stronger and shinier within a couple of weeks of taking Omega-3 supplements.
