I had a hell of a time with this. I was addicted to Pepsi. I was drinking upwards of 2-2 litres bottles per day. I hate water, so I really struggled with a way to replace the pop. If you drink water, I'd suggest carrying it with you so it's always with you and you have no need to pick up a pop. I would also try to adjust to the idea of not needing a drink with you all of the time. This was my realization: I went on a weekend date with a new man and another couple. I didn't know him well yet and didn't know them at all. We went to West Edmonton Mall. I knew where all the bathrooms were within a few hours. The couple mentioned to my date that I sure used the washroom often. He replied that I always have a drink in my hand. I didn't even notice anymore how the rest of the world isn't drinking non-stop all day. Keep some low cal snacks with you and nibble on those instead. You will likely lose some weight and certainly your teeth will be happier if you knock off the pop. It's not a bad idea to treat it as any addiction by calling a friend if you are having a hard time not running to the store for a sugar and caffeine fix. also, reward yourself once you have gone a day, then a week, then a month. A detoxification for your body is also helpful. Check your local health food store, or search online for products like tea, that will get the physical soda craving out of your system faster. Replace a bottle of soda with a bottle of water. Besides being much healthier than soda, it also allows you to keep the habit of having something to drink. Good luck!Health Question & Answer

By stop drinking soda! It's not that hard. Just don't make it available to you anywhere. Don't buy it, don't get it somewhere else. If you're with someone when you're out, let them hold your money so you don't buy a soda.Health Question & Answer

Its really not that hard to stop drinking soda. But only you can help yourself. Don't drink diet sodas that is worst. FYI coffee is not worse. If you have just black coffee it actually is quite healthy. Health Question & Answer

Eat or drink anything sweet. I ate a ton of chocolate. I stopped by starting to eat apples. Now i rarely eat chocolate and I love apples now.Health Question & Answer
