Well i love to work out and by no mean am i close to being out of shape. I was wondering if someone has any really good tips on increasing the size of my biceps and my Forearms. I've been in weight training at my school for 3 years but this year i'm really into getting bigger, i'm still trying to get stronger though. I'm a senior in high school and i can bench 200 pounds right now. So can anybody give me some good bodybuilding tips and advice. Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Lower Reps and Higher weights. Try 21's for a good pump! And keep changing your routine every 4-5 weeks because your body can adapt to your workout around 4-6 weeks. Try new exercises or change your reps and sets to keep the muscle growing (Google Muscle Confusion) and get in that protein. Hopefully you are supplementing with Whey shakes..right.? You need 1-2 grams of protein per body pound. So if your 160 pounds you needs 160 grams or more of protein. Health Question & Answer

Sounds that you've been doing pretty well by now. I recommend that you keep a constant exercise and start doing a lot of sets of exercises. Wide and close bench presses are awesome for your chest, but keep in mind to keep it constant. For the biceps and forearms i really recommend doing sets of dips. They have a great impact on your triceps because i used to do dips when i was in high school and i had tremendous results. The most important tips about increasing in size is to keep your exercises constant and every day. Don't stop when your tired because that when your muscles are starting to work the best. Just to give you a hint, i ran in this site www.fityourselftoday.com and they have great information on exactly what you are looking for and about keeping the body in shape. It looks like a lot of people have some amazing results. They help people just like you build an extreme body just the way you like. Good luck and I hope I helped.

Add more weight. That's the best advice I can give. Of course, adding more weight does nothing if you don't fuel your body to do the exercise, so you will need to get your ducks in a row with regard to what you eat. I believe to add an inch of girth to arms it requires about a 10-15 pound weight gain, which is nothing to sneeze at.

Wrist strength will also be important to support the weight. Use straps or gloves.? Get rid of them. Lift with your bare hands. Not only does this strengthen your wrists (and your grip) by extension, but it will give you more leverage to do more weight. After all, there is no reason to having strong arms (you won't) if everything down the line is weaker. Grip can also be trained by lifting heavy in compound exercises - deadlifts, rows, snatches, cleans, etc.Health Question & Answer

The best advice I can give you without going into a long detailed explanation is before you start lifting weights EDUCATE yourself on what routines are right for you.

The reason I say this is because so many people don't know what the heck they're doing when it comes to lifting weights and not only does it cause injury but it's a waste of time. And another tip don't be that guy who works out chest and arms ever day, hit back shoulders, and legs too. Otherwise you'll look stupid and cause your body injury.

It's simple to learn how to lift weights. Once you have it down you'll make progress faster than ever before.Health Question & Answer

instead of using low weight and high reps do high weight and low reps. when you do high weight it makes little rips in the muscle (doesn't hurt/ don't even feal it). the rips force the muscle to repair itself. it puts a new layer of muscle tissue ontop of the old one and makes you bulk up more.Health Question & Answer
