Question: I want to lose weight so badly.?
I would like to start losing weight. over the next 5 months. I just dont know where to start.I dont have alot of money some please dont recommend some expensive diet...what are some tips you can give me to start goingHealth Question & Answer

You can do it!!! Start by watching what you eat: no fast foods, fatty or fried foods or sodas. Drink a lot of water. Eat lots of fresh fruits and veggies. Once you get used to eating this way you'll like it more. Exercise (begin by walking) 5 days a week for 20 minutes. If you have On Demand there are exercise programs there too. there is no need to spend any money.

start by eating 5-6 small meals a day. don't go and eat 5-6 meals the size that you are already eating.

limit your sweets, soft drinks and junk food. try to eat healthy as much as possible and keep 1 day out of the week where your allow yourself to eat take away or some chocolate etc.

do some exercising. this doesnt have to be something drastic, it can be as simple as walking 3-4 times a week for 30 mins, adjust your pace and length to your fitness level and increase it regularly.

when you feel your fitness is up to it, include weights in your exercise. this is an excellent way of losing body fat as your metabolism is increased for up to 36 hours after doing resistance training (weights).

drink at least 2litres of water a day, drinking alot of water helps lose weight.
