well i wouldnt ive tried to do that and its just awful. doing any big compound exercises will own you. id say keep it short and sweet if your gonna go and stay away from the deadlift & squat.Health Question & Answer

Lifting on no sleep opens you up for injury and exhaustion. It will actually set you back in your workout and in your ability to go to work if you lift on no sleep. Plus, building muscle requires lots of rest. You should actually be sleeping MORE if you want to stay in healthy shape. Health Question & Answer

Why are you so sleep deprived.? I've been there, done that, it's hell. I take 50-100 mg of 5-HTP to help me sleep. It's not a sleeping pill per se', but it increases seratonin levels in your brain and helps you relax enough to put you in a deep sleep.

Have you been drinking too much coffee.? Are you perhaps bipolar or have rude neighbors.? Anxious.? Depressed.?Health Question & Answer

If you are consistently not sleeping well then weight training doesn make sense as you grow after a workout when you get good sleep thats when your body repairs itself. Prepare a workout schedule according to your current life style and stay on a good diet plan.

Your muscle's won't have proper time to repair. Unless you are getting at least 8 hours of sleep, you really should be training.Health Question & Answer

No. Lifting weights will only make you sleepier and drain your energy. Do it when you're back on a normal sleeping schedule.Health Question & Answer
