Question: Why am I not sore after doing as many push ups as I can.? .?
I do as many push ups as I can (15-20),and I'm not sore. Is it because I am over weight (which i am ) . If i need to loose weight just say so. Health Question & Answer

its not because you're overweight, its because your muscles can work more and you are not pushing them to the limit, when your muscles feel sore it means they have ripped fibres meaning they grow as there repaired. so you have to more press ups to make them sore.

it just means your muscles are stronger than 15-20 press ups.

so do more! :)Health Question & Answer

if you just do one set of push ups, it doesnt matter if your doing the most you can do, youre not gonna get sore
try doing multiple sets, it doesnt matter if you do less than your max
just keep doing them till it burns a lot, then rest 60-90 seconds than do another set( you will notice that every set you will be doing less reps than the last one) do 3-5 sets
that should get you pretty sore
and if you just dont get sore or this doesnt seem to work try lifting weights or cardio Health Question & Answer

it could be because you are on a high-protein diet at the moment. which is good, and helps you work out more since it renews your muscles.

trying doing as many as you can, then doing as many as you can again a few minutes later. push yourself.

maybe a bit of a healthier diet would help.? it would solve a few of your problems im sure. as for these people who are posting these diet websites, take advice from them, but don't follow the instructions directly. you have to find what works for you.

hey, good luck to you man.Health Question & Answer
