Yes, it is possible, but not advisable.

Starvation diets drain your body, and in the long run will actually make you gain weight on even less food, as your body goes into "survival mode".

You can lose a significent amount of weight just by cutting out
"junk food". By just eliminating soda, you can make a significent calorie reduction.

Be good to yourself. Eat right and cut out the junk.

I would say 20+ or about 25 in 2 months is really healthy and good.
First you need to start eating correctly...eat breakfast every morning and make sure its balanced. Maybe some oatmeal/sliced fruit one day and one egg/turkey bacon as a treat another day. You need a healthy lunch like soup or salad (or both). You could make a turkey sandwhich on wheat bread w/ lots of veggies on it. I would suggest drinking nothing but water. Its good for you and you'll see changes right away. For dinner, try chicken breasts, veggies, and salad. Mix it up! Snacks in between, fruits and yogurts, almonds are good too.

I am a personal trainer, I have worked with pro athletes. And honestly, there is no way you can loose that much weight. Even if you did, you would loose a lot of muscle, thus lowering your metabolism. I think 1 year is a much better goal. Yes you can but it is not adviced. I had a very sweet friend of mine that did that very thing and then his roommate found him dead at 22 at his computer. Why.? Because the stress on his heart was so great from losing so much weight in such a short span of time was to much and it killed him.

yes it is....because ive done it! it was hard...but then again...so is having anorexia. Don't do it..it sucks butt. Once you start fasting and then chewing and spitting, and working out for like ever,...you find it hard to even think about eating a full meal.
