Yes you can loose weight while eating high carb foods. The answer is exercise, everyday for more than 30 minutes and vigorous exercise at least twice a week but since you are eating high carb foods its good to do more exercise per day. Some guy lost weight on KFC before juts by exercise much. It would do good to cut down your fatty food intake bit by bit. There are also packaged weight loss food you can eat but i dont recommend those as they give you oily diarrhea as it pushes the oils out of your system. I would recommend swimming as a daily exercise as it uses most of the muscles in your body and are less likely to damage your ligaments. Running or jogging often and lead to cartilage being broken down between the joints and therefore leading to bone problems. Thats why atheletes often get bone problems. There are also certain foods that can help you loose weight such as raw fresh lettuce which takes more energy to digest than the amount of energy it gives you. Alright, Well basically for 30 minutes to An Hour to excercise.
slow dancing/fast dancing to your favortie songs.
Taking your dog for a walk.
Walking throughout your whole neighborhood.
You have to eat HEALTHY starting in the morning have a healthy cereal to get your body going, lunch, maybe a sandwhich, and for dinner grilled meats/fish and salads.
I know this is TORTURE.
so borrow/buy a recipe book, with healthy recipes that are appetizing for your stomach.
also, once a week you have your special "cheat day" the middle, or end of the week is best.
like the weekend, treat yourself, maybe on a special day going shopping with friends, and etc.
STOP eating foods that will make you in high risk of diabetes,
do not eat candy, chocolate, food with a high amount of grease fat salt etc.

aerobic exercise, less caloric intake, portion control. You can't just eat food and not expend the additional energy that your body doesn't use.. lay out on a table, all the food you eat in one day. save packages, write it down,and yes, include the extra sugars, milk, cream, extra helpings. there you go. Add fiber in the am to fill you up. it's in almost all cereals. skip the sugar part. you'll get used to it.. hope you like jump rope, basketball, swimming, volleyball or you'll just be sitting on the sofa, by your self.... one day.. it sneaks up on you...... I did slim fast, but, you have to follow it, again, it's caloric intake vs energy expenditure.

self-control is necessary for weight loss. stick to a healthy diet of fruits (you can experiment with all kinds of exotic varieties like lychees and strawberry guava etc), vegetables (stir fry etc), beans, whole wheat and nuts. give yourself a 'treat' at the end of the day of about 100-200 calories worth of whatever food you have been craving.
