To figure out your daily caloric intake, you need your gender, age, current height,activity level and weight. You didn't provide with weight so I'm just assuming you're 60 kg since you jog a lot which can make you gain a lot of muscle.

You need about 3000 calories per day. If you weigh mroe, you need to eat more. If you weigh less, you need to eat less.

An adult w/ just regular activity levels, you'd need about 1800 calories a day in order to maintain your weight. Because you're a growing teen, you'd need about 2200 calories a day- but that's just for a teen who is at a regular activity level. You, at six miles a day, would probably need another 2400 calories or so (400/mile) in order to maintain your weight and have enough extra to maintain cellular growth (grow) over time. Thus, you're probably looking at about 4800-5000 calories a day.

Make sure to PACK your meals with veggies, lean protein, whole grain carbs, and MILK. I can't stress that enough for teens who want to add lean muscle and stay healthy. It's essential. If you don't do milk, do soy milk w/ added calcium. That calcium is very important for bone growth and nerve development as you grow up.

So go with 4-6 medium sized healthy meals a day, with a glass of milk each time, and you'll probably meet that caloric need just fine. It doesn't really matter all that much when you eat them provided you always have a sizable breakfast and don't eat anything for about 2 hours prior to bed.Health Question & Answer

it depends on if your tryna lose weight gain weight or just maintain your weight, Im losing weight and i started off finding my bmr which is the blah blah blah its the amount of cal you would burn if you laid in bed all day... use this equation
BMR = 66 + ( 6.23 x weight in pounds ) + ( 12.7 x height in inches ) - ( 6.8 x age in year )
