When i am exercising i feel a blunt popping noise in my lower left back?!


Question: When i am exercising i feel a blunt popping noise in my lower left back.?
only when i do knee raises though. any other leg exercize i dont hear it or feel it. when i do knee raises with my left leg though, every time i go up i feel a blunt feeling/sounding pop in my lower left back. Is it something i should worry about.? It only hurts if i do it alot but the pop is always thereHealth Question & Answer


Answers:
It may be several things, like an accumulation of liquids in between the spinal tissue/bones, a slipped disk, or a disk that is about to slip. Best to go to the doctor and have him order some x rays or an MRI, it will tell you what's going on in your back and if it is something to worry about or not. It's really the only way you can tell, because there are several things that could be happening that are fine, but there might also be a problem starting to arrise there that you don't know about. Either way exercising will strengthen your back muscles and if u do have say a disk that is starting to slip, when you tighten up your muscles to your spin, it will more than likely go back in... Remember muscles hold the bones where they are supoce to be, a chiropractor can sometimes make things worse because they focus on bones and not the muscles....Health Question & Answer
