BCAA's are not nonsense! They are incredible, and used by any have decent bodybuilder for maintaining muscle mass and building new muscle. Honestly, I'm not a fan of fasted cardio, because your body will actually attack muscle and fat, were as if you had food it attacks fat and carbs. I suggest eating before cardio, and the poster above me did have one thing right, interval training is the best way to maintain muscle mass while burning fat.
