If you're going to eat cereal, try some really high fiber brands. they may not taste the best, but you want to avoid all high fructose corn syrup ones, and HFCS period.

Eat fruit for breakfast if you can. Eat a lot of vegetables with your meals as well.

Replace white bread with 100% whole wheat. If the bread ain't dark brown, don't eat it.

Eat only when hungry and stop when full...this really works.

Don't eat after 7pm if you can help it.
