Maggie, no they will not, you already have abs. What sit-ups will do is help you develop more noticeable abs. I apologize for the smart alex remark but it is true.

You can do sit ups until you turn blue in the face, you won't get the 6 pack. You have to incorporate cardio and diet. Diet is about 80-90% of the process.
