Not to much at all. If you are walking 2.3 miles, you are going to burn somewhere in the range of 120-180 calories per walk depending on you weight, your speed and some other factors.

Now, but comparison, there are about 120 calories in one can of coke. There are 3,500 calories in a pound or fat. So, keeping your diet the same, and burning 150 calories a day walking, it will take you 23 days to burn one pound of fat.

Don't let me discourage you though, change your diet, and bump up the intensity of your work outs, and you can lost 2-3 pounds a week.

It's different for everyone, the only way you can find out is if you try.

For example, if I walked 2 miles a day 5 days a week, I would probably lose about 5 or 6 pounds a week, but if my late father's wife did, she would only lose about 1 or 2 pounds.
