Worried about my best friend? Advice plz??? ?!

Question: Worried about my best friend.? Advice plz.?.?.? .?
Okay so my friend is petite and thin to begin with. She's 12 years old and she doesn't eat that much. Shes obsessed with calories, and burning calories off. She doesn't want to gain weight. She runs around and dances and does active things like that everyday.
She'll eat dinner at like 5:30 and then wake up and eat breakfast at like 7:00 or 8:00 (for school) and she'll eat an average breakfast of cereal or something like that. For lunch though, she barley eats anything. One day she skipped lunch. The other day she'd be like, "I'm starving!!!" And then only eat 2 100 calorie packs. Usaully, all she's been eating for lunch is a peanut butter samwhich, and a small bag of carrots. Less calories, is better she claims. One day we were jumping up and down in Social Studies, and she nearly collasped and told me to stop jumping cuz she felt " dizzy and low on energy."
Yesterday she told me she only ate 1200 calories and she was active for at least 30 minutes. I ask her why she does this, and her reason is simple, "I'm afraid of getting fat, look at all those movie stars!"
In the past week or so, i have noticed some brief weight loss.
Somedays all she eats for lunch is a peanut butter samwhich, even if shes starving.
I'm getting really worried
One day she came to school and said, " Man my legs are sooo sore!" And i was just like, "why.?"
And she explained to me every night she'll wake up in agony of hunger and pain of feeling like the muscles in her legs were being crushed. My mom said thats probaly because she should have more calorie intake, cuz u burn calories when you sleep, and she told me it only happens when she sleeps.
I'm worried... what should I do.?Health Question & Answer

First i would talk to her about it but if that doesn't work maybe consider talking to either her parents about it or someone at school. Try and explain that what she is doing is not healthy. She is growing and needs to be eating a lot more than that (closer to 2000-2200 cals at her age).

I hope this helps a little bit.

And btw the pain in her legs is almost definitely from not getting enough nutrients i when i was suffereing from anorexia every night i woke up in severe pain and cramping all through my legs, in the end i couldn't even stretch them without going into severe cramps and muscle contractions.Health Question & Answer

your friend needs help, most likely from a therapist or counsellor.
Maybe her parents should know what is going on,i wonder how is this possible.?she is 12 and soon she will stop growing, and have malnutrition. The parents are not noticing anything.?
Talk to your friend, but don't ridicule her.
any counsellor at school who may help,or give advice.?Health Question & Answer
