okay so i weigh 138 lbs and im 5'5 and my bmi says im at a healthy weight. i want to weigh 120 lbs. sooo i need advice on how i should loose it...please be specific. like what exercise machines and for how long... i want my stomach to be flatter... thanks in advanced :)Health Question & Answer

I would try this workout. At the same time you will be gaining muscule and burning fat. So its awesome.


WHAT YOU'LL NEED: Two 5 pounds weights.
* means one 5 pound weight in each hand.

If you don't have two 5 pound weights try using water bottles full of water.


Workout:
Stretch
*20 Bench Press x3
20 squats x3
*20 side arm lifts x3
20 crunches x3
20 push-ups x3
*20 lunges x3
20 leg lifts x3
Walk for 30 mins
Stretch

Stretching before your workout helps you not to pull a muscule during your workout.

Stretching after your workout helps you not be AS sore afterward.

I try to do this everyday, but I'm sure you would get results doing this only 2-4 days a week. I recomend everyday.


Eat 1500 calories a day and drink 8 glasses of water daily.

You will lose weight and tone up!

Check out the Abs diet book for Women it worked really well for me.
Mostly, eat alot during the day but little portions and stuick to whole wheat, veggies, berries and greens.
Your already a good weight so go to the the gym 2-4 times a week and do 15 mins on elyptical and 15 mins on tredmil and then do a weight routine every other time at the gym. You need to lift weights to tone and lifting weights burns calories longer then just cardio.

Your Avatar name is Just Live Your Life! I think you should be more secure with who you are but if you want here you go. Start by doing 100 crunches a day, This will get you started on abs! Then you a treadmill for and hour and half after dinner to burn off carbs. Oh and cut the junk food, I know it sounds weird but when I was on a diet and got hungry I would get an ice cube. For some reason it tastes good even though it's just water! Keep this routine. Every time you need to have a sweet cut it in half and take the small half.
