Why not alternate and do a little of both.? I prefer dips because it's easier to adjust the resistance (legs bent, legs straight, etc.) and give my wrists a break, but both exercises target the same muscle group.

If you have "man boobs" neither of those exercises is going to get rid of them, though. "Man boobs" is an interesting way to simply say "I have fat on my chest." Just like fat anywhere else on your body, you can't make it disappear by strength training in that one area. You'll build muscle in that area, but your body won't magically melt away the fat in that area. If you want to reduce your fat, you need to be doing full-body workouts including strength training and cardio exercise.Health Question & Answer

If your lower pecs droop you need to work your upper pecs to balance them out. Dips and push ups tend to work the lower portion of your chest which u don't want.

It's preferable if u join a gym or get access to a bench press.

Bench presses to the neck will work your upper pecs as will incline dumbell presses. Avoid bench pressing to the lower portion of your chest.

also, if u want to firm up your chest follow a low carb diet and eliminate all sugar, flour and processed foods from your diet. And eat every 2-3 hours to speed up your metabolism.Health Question & Answer

push-ups. this is a bicep workout, and a chest workout.
dips however is for your triceps only.

so, you can try doing push-ups, or you can sign up to a gym and do a variety of excersizes such as benching, push-ups, and many other excersizes.Health Question & Answer
