Diet/fitness section: recovering from an ED/midnight snack?!

Question: Diet/fitness section: recovering from an ED/midnight snack.?
Ok
So in December I got out of the hospital for an eating disorder
They put me on a med reglin to help me be able to eat
I've been home for a while. But EVERY night I wake up hungry and have to eat a snack
I have a meal plan and I follow it
My snack b4 bed is a fruit and a grain and gatorade (im dehydrated)
So I usually have a gatorade and a nutri grain bar @ 8 and go to bed around 830-9
And I wake up anywhere from 1-4 hungry

How can I NOT wake up hungry.?

Im experimenting and not taking my reglin b4 bed

Can you offer any advice.?
Should I eat something else besides a nutri-grain bar.? Like an apple or banana and a piece of bread or something.?
I DON'T want this to make me gain weight!

Thanks!!Health Question & Answer

I really have no idea. Maybe just chug some Water when you wake up, because it will make you more full. BTW gatorade actually dehydrated you...haha. You should try Propel its like a sugary water... it's pretty good and hydrates you. also when you wake up if you are hungry, maybe just have some sucky candies to suck on or something.. to make your mind more at ease. And they don't have too many calories in it. Sorry.. I really dont know how to help.Health Question & Answer

try green tea or ginger tea without sugar !!!
i always drink tea or black coffee after dinner (usually at 5:30/6:00) and if i am really hungry
i eat 7-10 almonds with 1 whole grain cracker or any fruits (kiwi/grapes) i used to be 110lbs now im 130lbs it been almost 7 months. and im so happy. i feel better . do it for ur health ur body-

you aren't supposed to have any carbs before bed, and you're eating stuff called simple carbs which are really bad to eat before bed because they get absorbed quickly and will make you hungry quick. eat all of your carbs earlier in the day and lean towards fats/protein towards the end because they take longer to be absorbed (and will make you feel full), stuff before bed would be like eggs/nuts/any meat/milk/whatever else you normally like for good fats and protein. you can either look into protein shakes or just drink milk, but find something to replace gatorade like water because you're drinking it at like the worst time.

also, it's really not bad to wake up and eat like that, it's actually better for nutrition because it's not good to go a long time without food like that, a lot of people drink a ton of water before sleeping just so they'll wake up in the middle of the night to eat

edit
not tryin to be mean, but did they explain why.? I don't really understand what's so important about gatorade with the recovery, but w/e you could try to switch dinner with the other snack but it's not really worth it imo, just stick to what they tell you if they don't let you do anything else, w/e gl sorry I couldn't help more lol.Health Question & Answer
