Question: Am i overweight.? should i loose weight.?
I am a 14 year old girl who is 4' 10'' and weighs 119 pounds. I am a size 7. I don't think im overweight but i keep going up in pants/ dress sizes and i am a large in most shirts and they still don't look good on me. Most of my fat is in my stomach and sticks out like 4-5 inches past my boobs. Is there any health risk in this.?Health Question & Answer

You are a little overweight, according to your BMI. It's about 24, which i would say is in the chubby range. Don't worry about it too much since you'll probably grow a few more inches in height but try to improve your diet (eat more fruits/veggies, eat lean protein like chicken and shrimp, eat less fatty&sugary foods) also try to exercise more like walk around your neighborhood or go to the YMCA or a gym nearby or jog at the park. You are not overweight, but the unfortunate part is that you carry your fat in your stomach (like I do!) It is the most dangerous fat because you have a higher risk for heart disease and other illnesses compared to those who carry fat in their butts!
