Question: Why do people stay slim doing yoga.?
In other words, why do people lose weight practicing yoga.? Since certain types of yoga are posture orientated, how does the body lose weight without some dynamic or aerobic motion.?Health Question & Answer

I've never done it myself, but I think it just tones the body and I also read that you can burn 200 calories an hour doing it or something like that. So I guess a calorie deficit is created there, but someone would have to do it every day for that to matter. I guess its like weight training, it helps on top of cardio and diet.Health Question & Answer
