Always eat breakfast, even if its just a banana. When you eat something in the morning, you wont be so hungry come lunch time, and so you will eat less.
Drink a bottle of water with every meal. Take a sip, then a bite, then a sip, etc. No 2 bites in a row! This way you will fill up on water and wont overeat.
Chew gum. Whenever you want a snack, chew gum and make sure it's minty. When you have that minty flavor in your mouth, it turns you off from eating.
Walk. Everywhere you can. If you have to go to the corner store, walk there, on you lunch break, take a walk.

unfortunately there are no tricks to dieting, if you go on diet pills, crash diets, starving modes, small calorie intake( less than 1000 calories) those will not benefit you at all. You first need to get that out of your mind, and then you need to think.....i need a healthy lifestyle...the one you can live with for the rest of your life, and this is your answer. And you must find an exercise regimen for everyday...whether its walking, or doing cardio or even yoga. Once you set your mind to this mode you will see how life is much easier for you, the weight will come off. As of today make a plan for the rest of your life....live healthy. thats what its about. you know the basic food groups....stick to that. and when we change our lifestyle to eating better, we must throw out the old and bring in the NEW....anything you were eating before..must change....sodas, chips cookies candies..McDonalds, BurgerKing...must say goodbye. The only way to achieve your weight goal is to change. You must find the Will Power inside of you, you must get motivated and kick the old habit away from you, then you can move forward to your new life goals. I know this isnt the answer you were probaly looking for...but in order to do this successfully we must change the way we think in order ot achieve it. there is no "trick". In order to lose a couple of lbs. I cut my calories down about 200-300 off of what my regular "maintenance" calorie intake is, make sure I exercise at least 4-5 days a week for at least an hour each time, drink plenty of water, cut out all processed sugar and most packaged foods and try to get ample sleep. I also majorly cut down on alcohol consumption (I'm not a big drinker anyway).Health Question & Answer
