Do you know anything about Colloidal Silver?!

Question: Do you know anything about Colloidal Silver.?
Does it work.? Especially pertaining to recovering after surgery and scar reduction.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Silver does have some anti-microbial properties, I know that. You may take it internally, but be aware of silver poisoning if you take too much, which can produce the odd colouring of the skin. It can be used externally quite effectively on cuts and wounds.

I have not used it internally, so I really can't say how effective it is. For scar reduction, I've had very good (miraculous, in fact) results with cayenne pepper. You can use it direct (no, it doesn't burn) or as an alcohol extract.Health Question & Answer
