Question: How can a 13 year old girl lose 8 or so pounds, without having to follow an extraordinarily difficult plan.?
I'm 5 foot, and 106 pounds.

Of course!

Switch full-sugar drinks for Diet ones.
Eat wholegrain bread instead of White bread. Wholegrain bread will make you feel fuller for lnoger, so you won't feel like eating afterwards.
Switch Sugar for Sween'n'Low/Equal tablets. You don't have to FULLY cut out all Sugar, but if it's on cereal or something, Sweet'n'Low tastes the same as Sugar.

Do sit-ups before bed every night. Start at doing 10, then after a few days you can increase to 20. A few nights after that, try doing 20 at night and 10 in the morning. Your tummy will start to look SLIGHTLY more flatter within 2 weeks. Don't try doing more than 60 at a time unless you slowly increase to that amount, or it'll damage your abdominal muscles and it will hurt like crazy.

Go on walks every day or two. At first you will probably hate it, but I go for walks roughly every day for 20 - 30 mins, and now I love going on walks. I only find them fun if i'm listening to my ipod, though!
It's Summer here in Australia, so I can always find a time for gonig on walks cause it's not snowy or rainy, but if it's Winter where you are, you could try just doing stretches in your bedroom to gain flexibility, or run up and down your stairs if you have them [don't fall down though; i've done that and it's SO not cool!]. Google "Yoga Excercises'' and try them. It's really fun to do Yoga while listening to relaxing music. if you are supposed to hold the Yoga Pose for like 20 seconds, I have found that counting 20 beats in the song is so much more fun that counting in my head.

also, make a habit of holding your tummy in and keeping a good posture. Standing up straight will seriously make you look a good 5 pounds slimmer.

i'm a huge sports jock and i've found the best way to cut weight without going to drastic measures is find something they find fun. take swimming for example it is one of the best ways to lose weight! most people enjoy swimming, you don't even really have to do a ton of laps start the work-out off with maybe 10 mins. of a slow freestyle just work on loosening up the muscles and stretching out. then just play games for awhile like marco-polo or water polo. then maybe try some racing, just keep it fun. also another fun thing to do is dance! dancing 30 mins to an hour every night or even every other night is one of the quickest ways to lose weight, you don't even have to be a good dancer. just find a space put on your favorite music and jump around! the main thing to remember is stay hydrated not gatorade but WATER!!! and loosing 8 pounds won't happen over night so don't be discouraged, if you lose weight the right way it will be much harder to put back on, and don't pig out after you eat unless it's fruit, you can eat as much fruit as you want and not gain weight it acually helps you lose it. so next time you go for a bowl of ie cream go for an apple instead.Health Question & Answer
