Answers:
Our diet is too rich in fat as well as calories, refined sugars, starches, and oils. At the same time, it is low in essential nutriments, minerals and other vital requirements. We are all agreed: the cholesterol found in the blood is made largely in the liver from fats in the diet. It is also believed that cholesterol is produced in the arterial walls themselves. But the main source and the one that we can to a great extent control is fat in our food.

You can do something about diet, and you can follow the low-fat diet with no difficulty, without having to suffer unexciting series of daily menus. And you can lose excess (unhealthy) weight easily, safely, and without having to starve yourself or restrict your diet to only a few foods such as lettuce and cottage cheese. You don't have anything to say about your heredity or your sex, but you can do something about what you eat and what you weigh.

You will discover exactly how to eat and what to eat in order to prolong your life and increase your health and vitality. The low-fat program can do wonders for your general health and well-being.

to help boost your metabolism you can take red tea and of course exercise.Health Question & Answer

I am 5'2" and I gained 20-25 pounds during my first two years at college and I am now dieting to get rid of all I have gained. Right now I weigh 149. I've only been on my diet for four days but what I've been doing is counting calories, watching fat and sugar, drinking lots of water, not eating junk food or fried food, and eating more fruits and veggies. What really helps and motivates me is fitday.com. It's easy to count your calories on there and there is also a journal so you can write down your feelings and stuff. If you can easily access the internet everyday I would recommend doing it.
I am going to tell you that at first it's hard, especially if you're used to eating whatever you want. But once you see the numbers on fitday you'll feel more in control and it'll be easier.
I also had my boyfriend take pictures of my body. When I look at the pictures I feel disgusted. So everytime I feel like eating a slice of pizza or something bad I just look at the pictures and remember what I used to look like. Hopefully it'll be enough to get you back on track. I plan on taking pictures every month so I can see the progress I made by comparing the pictures.
I also plan on doing exercises. I have an exercise ball so I will do some exercises with that every day or every other day. I haven't started yet but I will soon.
Another thing I do is sometimes when I get a craving I pop in a stick of gum. It does help.
Good luck!

First thing being a girl, it is alway's a good idea to go to your gp and get your hormones tested, if your balance is not right it can have a big impact on your weight, diet, what is that.?.? sound's like a word for a temporary fix and i think it's a waste of time, i think change of lifestyle is more appropiate, back to nature, if it's natural, eat it if it's not eat little or none of it, and exercise, our body's are not designed to just sit in an office or on the couch, if you really want to stay in shape fitness is the key to staying trim and eating more, the more fit you are the more you can burn and the better you feel, so the key is to build your fitness level high enough to do so, the key really is haveing the heart to do so and a building a healthy heart and lung's that you can use to do some serious exercise with. lifestyle not dietHealth Question & Answer

Drink water instead of soda, cut off the snacks, sweets and sugar. They're tempting but just think about it...if you eat them then you will gain more weight which isn't good for you:( Everytime you're bored, go take a walk, excersise, play sports...anything that would require your body to move. Keep your body moving so it would burn off the fat...good luck:DHealth Question & Answer
