Question: Can snacking really make you lose weight.?
I heard that 5-6 small meals throughout the day is better than 3 large/full ones. That eating more, but smaller portions will speed up your metabolism, and you can even lose weight.? And, that eating 3 large/full meals slows your metabolism, and results in people gaining weight when they get older. Is this true.? Oh and what are good small meals to eat throughout the day.?Health Question & Answer

It isn't really snacking when you try to have the same size meals 5 to 6 times a day. And yes, It helps to keep your body in a proper rhythm so your metabolism is the same all the time rather than over load the system 3 times a day.

Always eat a good breakfast. I like bacon or sausage and an egg and slice of toast. you might like either milk or juice to go with this.

Mid morning I like half an apple with cream cheese dip or yogurt dip with it.

lunch a lovely small Chef Salad is good. Or a single serve pizza.

mid afternoon the other half apple and whatever you didn't have with it for morning.

dinner: small piece of meat, with a lovely salad or green veggies.

bedtime snack: Dessert!! half a serving of whatever you like.

Of course be drinking water all day long. and do some exercising too or this won't work. I like to walk as fast as I can for an hour every day. Outside if at all possible but mall walking in nasty weather works too. Biking would be good as well.Health Question & Answer
