Question: How come I've been exercising, but seem to be bulking up instead of losing weight.?
I have been exercising every day at the gym-- cardio and light weight training. I thought I would begin to slim down after a while, but it seems like everything on my body is bulking up! I've only been exercising for two weeks...Health Question & Answer

This happens to everyone when they first start a workout program. It took me months before I started to lose weight, then I just maintained not gaining weight, now I'm loosing weight. It takes time. Some people it take only a few weeks, others months and years so don't give up just keep doing it. Make sure you diet is ok too. I went from eating waffles and eggs for breakfast to oatmeal and fruit and occasionally two boiled eggs and this has helped tremendously. Plus I try to drink 2 liters of water a day and this has helped a lot.Health Question & Answer

I udearstand what youi are talking about.
Most probably, you are either not eating right, or you are not working out right. If you eat that much calories, you will end up being overweight. In order to gain muscle, you have to exercise. If you don't, the calories will end up making you fat instead of muscular.

well when you work out you will burn fat and gain muscle..you cant just do one....but the main thing you can do for fat burn is cardio...if you dont wnt to bulk up...stop weightlifting....so ya hope this helps :)Health Question & Answer
