Is it possible to get a flat stomach?!
Question: Is it possible to get a flat stomach.?
Ok I am 23 yrs old, 5'1 and 145 lbs. I am trying to lose weight and my ultimate goal weight is 110 lbs. I also have had 2 kids and so my skin is a little loose on my lower abdomen. I run 2 miles every day and watch what I eat (lots of fiber, not fried or fast food, no sweets, very little bread) and I also do weight training 4 days a week for 30-45 mins. The running I do everyday 7 days a week. I went from 160 to 145 but Im just not sure if it is possible for me to ever achieve a flat stomach. What do you think.?Health Question & Answer

You can. But I'll be honest with you. It won't be easy. It does sound like your on the right track. You watch what you eat and you work out. The best way is to watch when you eat (and what you eat). Believe it or not but train to much can actual stop you from your goals. Resting will help you recover and help your body burn more Cal's while you rest. The hardest part will always be the last 10-15 Ib. And as for the skin. If your losing to much weight to fast, your body will not absorb the extra skin. Some ppl have the gene to do so. Quit drinking any soda pop, even diet soda pop. Start drinking water.
For Breakfast, eat a bowl of Special K, Cheerios, or Oatmeal Crisp with Skim Milk
For Lunch, make you a Turkey Sandwich on Wheat Bread with Mustard or Fat Free Mayo.
For Dinner, fix some type of Lean Meat, A salad, and have some Low Fat Cottage Cheese

It's possible but may take some time. Make sure you incorporate a good ab workout into your routine (every other day) to firm/tone those muscles. That will help you have that flat belly once the cardio you are doing burns the fat off that area.
