Rate this workout between a 1-10?!


Question: Rate this workout between a 1-10.?
i just got a membership at a new gym here in my little town. and i have talked to the owner and talked to my dad about days to workout and stuff and i finally came up with my own, i cant work 1-2 body parts on a daily bases i have to do a full body workout.
and im sure everybody knows that when you weight train you should wait 24-48 hours before you train again.

so i walk from my school to the gym and weight train and do my cardio on Mondays, Tuesdays, skip Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and i take the weekend off.

i do upper body and lower body on a daily bases up there and i only use 55 lbs so i don't overwork my muscles so they don't ache the next day at school or at the gym. and BTW i drink lots of protein shakes and eat lots of protein, does eating more protein effect the time period that it takes my muscles to repair.?

but anyways..and every night of the week i do - Monday _ 20 pushups, 20 situps, 20 leg lifts, 20 knee lifts and tuesday i double those (40), wednesday i do 20 more (60) , thursday i do 20 more (80) and friday i end the week with 100 pushups, sit ups, leg lifts, and knee lifts.

So give me your answer to my workout, 1-10.?

What are you doing as weight training.? The amount of weight that you use (as long as you aren't making it easy for yourself or using so much that your form is off) isn't as important and the movements your body is making.

Make sure that you're hitting up every body part, lats, chest, legs, back (please don't forget about your back), traps, etc.

It doesn't look like you do your cardio on weight training days, which is good.

If you have even three days to dedicate to the gym, you can do a split routine. You'll probably see better results with a split. There's some links in the sources section.Health Question & Answer
