Help~ Bench Press Injury?!


Question: Help~ Bench Press Injury.?
Hi, I think i injured my shoulder benching like 2 months back and i still haven't healed completely. I didn't warm up and did a weight too heavy.

It's 100% fine in any movements i do, no loss of motion, and my shoulders are pretty flexible.

but the whenever i ROLL my shoulder forward as if I'm trying to show off my trapezius muscle it really hurts where the chest meets the shoulders on the front... Did something like this happen to anyone else.? I've been trying to get back by doing dumbbell presses and i have no pain doing that.

I HATE going to the doctor so... Anyone have any idea what happened.? Any rehabilitating exercises.?

P.S: i took X-ray AND MRI and the doctor said they found nothing wrong and prescribed me a physical therapist...

i'll be starting it next week. i'm just especially bothered atm by it. But how can i feel pain if the mri and xray says theres nothing wrong.? -_-;;Health Question & Answer


Answers:
It could be inflamation in your muscles or an inflamed tendon. I bench hard at least 3 times a week and usually I have to take a week off after every month or so, it just gives your muscles time to recover, if the mri and xray were both negative would say maybe some antiinflamitories would help but your physical therapist will be the best person to ask.Health Question & Answer
