Actually you could lose consciousness without realizing it. Not to worry about the symptoms unless you feel extremely tired in which case someone should keep an eye on you. The nosebleed could be the result of the heat in the house. It dries out the tiny blood vessels in the nostril causing bleeding. There are a few ways to stem the blood tide. First, pressure (with ice, placed in a wet washcloth) on the bridge of your nose with your head up, not back. Another trick is to put a cotton ball in the bottom of the nostril to stop bleeding. Once the bleeding has stopped, if the heat in the house is drying you out, put a small amount of vaseline (petroleum jelly) on a cotton swab and gently, carefully line the inside of each nostril with it. Another helpful thing is using saline spray up your nostrils to keep them moist.
Dizziness and headache... probably a direct result of hitting the back of your head hard. See if the headache is worse in the area you hit. Don't get anxious as it only makes things worse. If you have other problems like blurred vision, pain becomes worse, or nosebleeds won't stop then seek help. If not, take Ibuprofen (Motrin, Advil) for the headache. I have provided a link to the symptom checker at WebMD. You can use it to input your symptoms and see the possibilities. It is important to put in as much info as possible and remember... the list of POSSIBLE problems is just that, possible. Best of luck and hope this helps you.Health Question & Answer

Go to the hospital ASAP.

You could have some sort of inter cranial bleeding, that is "venting" out your nose. It could be very serious. And the headache and feeling dizzy only support that conclusion.Health Question & Answer
