Is there a special type of doctor I can see for a wrist pain?!
Question: Is there a special type of doctor I can see for a wrist pain.?
I am 16 years old and whenever I move my hand a certain way I get a sharp pain in my wrist. Some examples are when I'm playing catch (baseball), sometimes when I'm driving, and often whenever I try to workout anything that involves moving my wrist. (I didn't hurt it working out because It started hurting before I started working out and I don't do any drills that make it hurt). Its hurt for about 4-6 months now, and when I went to my normal doctor she just gave me some bs about not doing whatever makes it hurt for the next couple of weeks.. (Kinda hard to do when it hurts from random every day activities) I don't think its carpels tunnel because I don't type a lot and it never hurts when I do, is there a special type of doctor that might be more help.?Health Question & Answer
