Exclusive health care for muslims only?!

Question: Exclusive health care for muslims only.?
Below is a link to the constitution of the Muslim Doctors and Dentists Association of the UK -

http://mdda.org.uk

it clearly stipulates in

2. Objects and powers

2.1.1. To advance the Islamic religion in the practise of medicine in the United Kingdom.

while this is very specific towards "the advance" for muslims, does this not become exclusive only to muslims while non-muslims are excluded (note: non-muslims don't get a single mention in this constitution) and is therefor against having a multicultural medical system to prevail.?.?.?.?

The muslim communities in the UK have fought very hard to promote multicultural and multi-faith policy changes within the government to help with there own Integration into British society & culture to work in the health care sector, with all due respect to muslims doesn't this sound even the slightest hypocritical.?
If the UK was to accept say, an exclusive Jewish only medical body to promote only the health of the Jewish communities I feel there would be uproar so understandably I'm left a little confused by this constitution being put forward.Health Question & Answer

A friend of mine works in this area, althought this is a specific religious objective be assured that in the NHS there are teams in place not only for muslims but for jews and for hindus and christians. To increase medical knowledge of cultural differences in health care to increase patient satisfaction. It's not advancing the care for muslims its advancing the knowledge of the islamic religion in the practices of medicine allowing for individuals to be attended to medically in a way that is acceptable to religious belief.

There is a christian medical fellowship and A jewish medical company.

Teams are in place for all religions to aid medical care.

To promote christian values
To advance the cause of islamic values

They are hardly different its discourse you are arguing here, if they had chosen promote instead of advance it would mean the same thing. Advance is a synonym of promote. They are both saying that they wish to increase the values of their religion with their doctors and in medicine. If you look at the core objectives of all three sites ( maybe little less on the jewish one) they are stating they want the promotion of their religious beliefs within ethical healthcare for doctors and will make links with community and society.

For example if a Jewish or a Muslim person was in a hospital these strategies would ensure that they would be given kosher or halal food. It's not about secularisation it is about making sure ALL religions are sensitvely approached when at hospital or in health care setting because its a vulnerable time for a patient.Health Question & Answer
