Why can't I get to sleep at night?!


Question: Why can't I get to sleep at night.?
For the past week I have not been able to get to sleep at a reasonable hour. I get up early to get my daughter off to school and I am busy all day cleaning house and cooking. When it's time for bed, I toss and turn and seem wide awake. By the time I fall asleep, it's the early morning hours. I haven't changed my schedule, I haven't had more of a caffeine intake, and I'm not on any kind of medication. Nothing in my lifestyle is different. I'm going crazy here! Does anyone know any causes of this.?Health Question & Answer

Hi from UK. To me your mind is working overtime.When your child has gone to bed why don't you try to read a good interesting book this will help. I've read everything you have written and it makes me think something is not making you happy but you won't admit it to yourself. If you think that is wrong then I am sorry, only trying to help. I've had that too..still do actually. I advise to do what I did.
Calm down. Maybe take a warm bath.
Have someone give you a massage!
I'm really not sure...I mean...I have had that..like I said I still do...And haven't found an answer.. I actually stayed up the whole night and day and went to sleep that night..or if I wasn't tired at that night I would stay up another night and day.

It sounds like built-up stress to me. I agree with snoockie; take a day for yourself and rest up. Go to a spa, get a massage, and don't think about anything for one day. It should help you get to sleep better.Health Question & Answer
