What seems cause for excessive "tiredness" of hubby?!
Question: What seems cause for excessive "tiredness" of hubby.?
My hubby is a massive stroke survivor. The blood pressure meds tire him out, so that is understood and has been dealt with for years now.
The new concern is that he is currently being treated for an ulcer on his stroke leg, and he complains of being extra tired. He is sleeping more than I am these days.
Can this be a by-product of the antibiotics for his ulcer.? He mentioned that within 15 minutes of his first antibiotic pill taken, he was feeling less pain in his leg, and his head felt "light".
When he was on antibiotics for this ulcer before (back in Feb), he mentioned the same thing, but we pulled him off of it after about 7 days because he had developed itching allergy to that antibio. So, we gave it a rest, and he got back on some antibio, but a different type. Same initial reaction - being kinda light headed and the pain subsiding in the ulcer area.
My question is CAN antibiotics make a person's area of pain subside so quickly AND the person get a little light-headed.? Since that initial response, he has not mentioned anything but feeling like he wants to sleep all the time.
Just want to hear from others if this seems like a common thing for people who are on blood pressure meds (that slow down the energy to begin with).?
