Question: My body is so stiff and sore! HELP.?!.?
My P.E teacher made us run for 40 minutes straight. I had a sub so we didn't stretch. I didn't feel stiff until 1 day after i did the run. Why am I so stiff.? It really hurts and it's hard for me to move. HELP ME!Health Question & Answer

You are stiff mostly because your body is not used to running that much. Take an easy day by drinking a lot of water, stretching and taking a warm suddsie bath. That should help!Health Question & Answer

Good for your PE teacher - sounds like they did you a favour by excercising muscles you don't normally use.
Stretching would not have stopped you feeling sore - that's to stop sudden shock to the muscles.

Take a hot bath in Epsom salts.
Tense and Relax your muscles.
Taking some good deep breaths in and out.
Breath in..tensing and tightening your muscles... hold a few seconds... now letting go of the air SLOWLY, Relax and let go the muscles. Again tense and breath in.... hold to the mental count of 4... slowly exhale... and relax and let go of the tension in your muscles and body.
Do this several times whenever you feel any Tension and you will feel the pain, anxiety, panic, soreness,etc.disappear Health Question & Answer
