Could've riding a very bumpy bus for a long period of time cause brain injury ?!

Question: Could've riding a very bumpy bus for a long period of time cause brain injury .?
I was on a bus at one time that was extremely rattly regardless of where you'd sit. I know it probably sounds crazy, but couldn't the extreme bumpyness due to the worn out shock absorbers make you more susceptible to injury since you are always shaking up and down. Even the first bus that I was on lost control and starting rumbling before smoke came inside it. Point is, would riding in a very shaky bus/truck cause injuries of any sort, particularly brain. Answers:
NO, then kids all over America would be getting brain trauma from riding on a shaky bus and they wouldn't be used. You cant just get brain injury like that, it takes a major impact such as a blow to the head, or even boxers can develop brain injury from all those punches and concussionsHealth Question & Answer

I don't know about the brain but I do know that people who have occupations where they spend a lot of time riding motorcycles are prone to have internal injuries. I don't recall what organs or how, just guessing it was possibly kidneys, because it was so many years ago when I read the news article.

I agree with other answer, it can cause spinal injuries.Health Question & Answer

Well if your bain is getting jogged about quite often - 30 minutes or more

You will be feeling serious pain , due to the bumpyness the brain is moving slightly and hitting the skull over time

Damaging the skull and brain

Well not realy much you can do , maybe get a taxi but .. nothing else much i can think of.

Hope i hepledHealth Question & Answer

i really don't think so... your brain is in a sac full of fluid that acts as its own shock absorber...

it probably could cause injury to other body parts, particularly some issues with the discs in the backbone, but i would SERIOUSLY doubt brain injuryHealth Question & Answer

I saw a documentary on T.V. about soldiers receiving head trauma and causing brain damage. The show talked about light bumps, loud noises etc. So it is very possible that the bumping going on outside, also jarred your insides, including your brain.Health Question & Answer

Brain injury.? I seriously, seriously doubt it. Back and neck problems, more probably. It takes a lot to cause brain injury. Unless the shaking gave you a concussion, I don't think there's much to worry about.Health Question & Answer

usually people have enough control of their bodies to keep their head straight enough so it's not flopping around causing injuries and with an adult brain it would need a serious impact. if it was a baby i'd say maybe.Health Question & Answer

might cause muscle strain, but that is about it. No, it won't cause brain injury, the brain is very well protected by the skull and it takes a major blow to cause injury.Health Question & Answer

I dont think so. your brain is protected by your skull. Unless it takes a direct blow I dont think it would cause injury, however you could possibly get neck injuries or even back injuries.Health Question & Answer
