Can my wrist problem be an elbow problem?!
Question: Can my wrist problem be an elbow problem.?
1 year ago I twisted my left hand, from left to right, and it was an extreme twist that I thought I broke a bone or dislocated something. I had an X-Ray and it was fine, but ever since I feel that my wrist is loose and my dr says "As long as you can grap a 5 pound weight without a pain then ur wrist is fine". I can grap the weight but I feel that my wrist joint is very loose.
When I do the reversed curls exercise, with dumbells, and exactly when lowering the weight I hear a tick in my elbow.
Are those related.? by the way in same shoulder was dislocated twice before.Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Yes, it's called compensating. A natural almost automatic shifting of weight/use to protect an injured area. It is also a very bad idea because it puts excess strain upon the muscles and makes them prone to injury.
