Is there anything that could explain this.? New medication.? Caffeine.? Did you eat or drink something new.?

In any case, if your heart rate is still that high while you're reading this, please go to the ER. I don't want to scare you because it can be something simple like being dehydrated. Did you drink enough water yesterday.? Were you out in the heat.? But if if you were at home and resting or just at work at a computer, etc, then you need to get to the bottom of the source. Even with something simple like dehydration, you may have reached the point where you need some fluids right now. So head on over. It's always best to get checked and not wait to see if it goes away.

If you don't have insurance, go to a county or state hospital. They will work with you on the bill.Health Question & Answer

how long has your pulse been this high.? Does it happen often.? and do you have any chest pain.? You need to see a doctor if this keeps happening to have an EKG or heart tracing. You could have a form of tachycardia that can be treated with meds easily. If left untreated it can lead to blood clots and a host of other troubles down the road. my advice though is to go get checked out today and deal with this problem quickly.
