Hon, you know your body better than anyone else. For this reason and others you need to get a second opinion. Go see a gastroenterologist if possible. You deserve to be treated fairly. I hope you feel better soon...Good luck!Health Question & Answer

take Immodium AD and it will correct it, but be sure to follow label directions, if you overdose on that stuff you will be stopped up big time.Health Question & Answer

diarrhoea... is a total pain..

Hand another sample into the surgery make sure you get enough of the Fluid in the sample pot as the last one might not have had enough materiel for them to get a good idea of bacteria..

If the next one comes back negative then ask for a referal to a G.I Specialist.

Make sure you are keeping up your fluid in take to avoid dehydration.. AVOID high sugar drinks like coke, lucazade sports drinks and glucose drinks as they make diarrhoea worse... cooled boiled water is the best thing to take.. also fast from foods for 24 hrs then slowly introduce bland foods.. rice, pasta etc nil spicy foods and no greasy/fatty foods either..

The odd probiotic drink may help rebalance the natural bacteria..Health Question & Answer
