i have alot of phlegm and its not letting me breathe i tryed mucinex and now i can breathe through my nose but since i tryed mucinex i get like chest congestion and chest pain. I'm 11 and I'm a hypochondriac so i think i have pneumonia :( even though i got a chest -ray and nothing is abnormal...what could be causing this.? chest pain**Health Question & Answer

if your coughing a lot this could cause chest pain also when you take the mucinex make sur you drink lots of water this helps thin the mucous other than that if you continue having the chest pain go back to the doctor you might have an upper respiratory infection that may be treated with antibioticsHealth Question & Answer
