I'm only 25, and for the past two days, it feels like my hip is not in the right place. How can I fix this?!

Question: I'm only 25, and for the past two days, it feels like my hip is not in the right place. How can I fix this.?
I am in pretty good shape, the other day I was running (literally) all day chasing my kids around outside. In the evening, i noticed my left hip felt like it wasn't in the right place. It hurts a little bit, I can still walk fine, but I definitely feel like its just not in the right place. I have no transportation to get to the doctor for a while. Its not like I'm in pain, but I really need to be able to walk properly with two very young kids. What can I do.?

(This isn't even including the problem I've been having for 2 weeks, where everything I eat goes out the other end, or the pain I've been having in the joints of my toes for the past year).Health Question & Answer

I'm 26 and this has been happening to me since I was a teenager. The only thing that fixed it was physical therapy. The problem I was having was actually my knees but the PT sorted out my hip problem, which I thought I was just going to have to live with for the rest of my life. It wasn't really an injury, it was more of an issue of certain muscle groups being underdeveloped.

If you cannot go to the doctor right now your best bet would be to put together a regimen of simple exercises (fifteen minutes will be enough if you do them every night) that target your thighs and butt. That way all of the muscle groups that "assist" your hips will be stronger, it really does help.

Just run a search for thigh exercises and butt exercises, or see if you can find some videos of simple, targeted exercises on YouTube.

You should see your doctor ASAP, though, just in case.

Good luck!
