I took Lyrica myself for a while for chronic back pain, and I didn't do too well on it. It made it hard to cope with lifes stresses and I became extremely depressed. I would ask her to talk to the Doctor about it, there are other medications that may suit her better.
Good luck, and try be understanding to her condition. It's certainly not her usual behaviour, so try and get her some help if she's unwilling to do it herself.Health Question & Answer

Seriously hon, call your moms doctor and tell him/her what's going on. If you can't get through to the doctor, ask to speak with his/her nurse. She's either having bad side effects to the Lyrica, or it's not mixing well with her other meds. I hope I've been helpful to you, good luck to you & your familyHealth Question & Answer

I have heard lyrica is similar to neurontin but has few side effects. Maybe she could switch and see if it helps. While some people call lyrica a crazy med, it usually causes tiredness and drowsines. Go to www.lyrica.com and read about the side effects from this med.Health Question & Answer
