Question: Need help my mother smokes i dont.?
i have my own house my husband is over seas so i moved back for family comfort i dont smoke so im use to being in a house with no smoke my miither smokes and so does her boyfriend is there anything i can do besides telling them to stop or go outside i mean its there house because i am having trouble breathing and feel like i have shortness of breath please helpHealth Question & Answer

The best way to confront this problem is to confront them. Although it's truly their house, I'm sure your own mother cares about your own health safety. If you do decide to peacefully confront her, try working out something with the two, such as going onto the porch and chatting while they smoke, while you maintain a safe distance from second hand smoke.
If the above suggestion doesn't work, and you don't feel comfortable confronting her about smoking, Simply avoid the general smoking areas in the house. Go outside every once in awhile for a breather.Health Question & Answer

if they insist on smoking around u and wont go outside (after all, it is their house), than go home to ur own house.
